Difficult choice, given that Fallout 4 is something like a 8.7777 over 10 and Starfield is mostly a 8.777 (last digit unknown).

It´s always hard to choose between two jewels of gaming.... at least give us a real bad game to compare them with, like FartCityzen, OuterBoredoms or OneShitSky.

Starfield. Fallout 4 is better. Finish starfield recently and Im not going to touch it again unless there is some major overhaul. There is just too many weird design in starfield. The exp is not balanced, the economy is worse the higher level you get, the perk is not interesting it is more towards design of "you must have this perk to even enjoy this basic feature", exploration is weaker than fallout 4, battle and abilities are better, it has ship builder too and these two is the only two good points I can think of starfield. Definitely my least favorite Bethesda title.

I liked Fallout 4 a lot because it was straight forward character creation (no pronouns bs, no it/they bs, no forced lgbt stuff in it), you were either Nate or Nora, man or woman, husband or wife and we were put into the shoes of an actual character who had their own voice and their own past history and also a child that you had to find. The story was awesome and I really enjoyed the factions in that game especially the Institute and the Nuka World Raiders. The game was super fun for me mainly because it was the first time Bethesda introduced building houses and stuff and I spent hours building my own outposts in that game. On top of that the modding community added a lot of extra content and also fixed up stuff in the game where Bethesda failed to do with the Unofficial Fallout 4 patch which was a must have. I played over 3000 hours of Fallout 4 thanks to the modding community who mad my experience so much better than Vanilla Fallout 4. Also ENB was awesome and thank you Nexus for all the mods that you made available to download at our fingertips.

Starfield is a fairly new game, I only have 40 hours in it and haven't even finished anything yet, still on the main story, haven't even touched the side quests and the faction quests, just like Fallout, there is plenty to do in this game and you also have outpost building and even ship building. So far, it feels similar to Fallout in every way, when I play this game I know I am playing Fallout in space. My one request from the modding community is to make Mech's active and allow us to man the Mech's. If you played the UC faction story, you will come to see them but they are all banned and decommissioned so nobody uses them, but people are still allowed to collect their parts and stuff but not allowed to operate it. I truly believe that Starfield (given enough time) will make it's way to become a very enjoyable game just like Skyrim and Fallout, but my only request is for Bethesda to release the creation kit so that our modding community can start doing stuff for this game.

The bottom line is, Starfield is good game, sure you can't compare it to Star Citizen etc, but it's a great game, basically Fallout in space and I totally feel if given enough time, this game will also shine just like Skyrim and Fallout did. We just need the modding community to improve this game and make it more enjoyable than vanilla Starfield which was the case with Fallout. Vanilla Fallout was very lacking but with mods it made it a lot more fun and enjoyable experience. I feel as if the modding community can do a lot with Starfield as the game has many planets and moons so you are not just limited to one small map as it was the case in the previous games.

How many same thread are you creating ? Here and the one in Fallout4! What is the point?

I'm gonna say Fallout 4, came with no support for wide screen and it runs like crap on my pc cause it does not support new systems or something.
But I still play the game, I enjoy it a lot.

I agree, Starfield going woke is why this game is inferior to Fallout 4.

My man's really crying over optional pronouns that are visible for 5s in the character creation screen

"Worse" implies at least one is bad. They are different games and I like them both in different ways. For instance, I think Fallout 4 had better companions, but I like Starfield's story more. Fallout 4's settlement system was more intuitive and customizable than Starfield's outpost system, but Starfield has shipbuilding and shipbuilding is awesome.

Fallout 4 and now Starfield are both considered the worst Bethesda games by most people, aren't they?

Fallout 4 has penetrator perk which allow your bullet to penetrate cover in vats.
No guns can penetrate cover in starfield because bethesda forgot to add bullet penetration in this game.
Starfield has better gunplay than fallout 4 but missing an important feature like bullet penetration is a real shame for a 2023 game.
