.45 ammo

I can't find any .45 ammo for several antique pistols I have acquired. Where can it be found?

gun shops will be your best bet, 2 in Akilla and 1 in New Atlantis are the 2 i use, also try Jemisons Mercantile in Atlantis

I've been in all of NA shops, including the Well, also in a gun shop in a planet I don't remember the name, during the quest where you have to get an engine for some colonists, and I haven't found .45 until now. I'll check Akila...

That's hopetown

But any place that sells an antique pistol is going to have .45 ammo

Best bet will be going back to hopetown, and going to best defense and cycling their inventory until you get the ammo (if it's not in the shop inventory wait 48 (or 24? I forget) and it'll refresh)

Centaurian Arsenal in residential New Atlantis has some, as does the arms trader on Neon. You'll also get some at abandoned outposts scattered about.

Thanks, I went to the Arsenal, just wonder if .45 caliber ACP will fit the guns (they only say .45 caliber).

All vendors with ammo stocks can sell .45 once you are about level 35 or so. Supplies are limited at first, but I assume it increases volumes as you gain more levels.

.45 ACP is what you want. That’s the name of the actual ammo (.45 Automatic Colt Pistol) that the M1911 uses.

4 shops in Akila & 4 in Neon Core that deal guns. I find it rotates out a bit, but I cycle thru there to Sell guns after raids, and check their ammo 1st on every visit & every wait-time reset.
The one I'm always looking for is 40mm grenade rounds. Sometimes it's several visits before a given One stocks it, but between the 4 I can always find some by the time I'm empty of pirate guns & armor pieces.

you may need to 'cycle' the vendors, they dont always carry everything
sleeping or waiting (and maybe re loading after) might refresh their selection
