Switching Ship Turrets Off
Hey,

Sorry if this has been answered already, but is there a 'toggle' fire button for your spaceship turrets. Got ambushed by a bounty hunter and was disabling his engines, but the turrets just kept firing and the ship was destroyed.

Thanks

You need to power them down.

This, remove all power from them in the power management while flying.

Thanks, figured that was it. Seems a bit clunky though, you'd think a on/off button would be easy enough to enable.

There is a "off button".

What ever button or key you use to power down, just hold it. It will kill all the power immediately.

You have to do it manually

I appreciate that using cycling through to the correct power system and then using the key bindings will deactivate the turrets, but I'd rather not have to worry about not being quick enough to complete the task after the engines are disabled, leading to the destruction.

A dedicated key binding for on/off auto turrets would be nice.

Auto turrets imo are for people who just want to destroy ships and don't care about capturing.
