Mantis Missions

So i did the Mantis quest, and now im space Batman...! but I was wondering if there are any actual Mantis missions to do or is that it?

Nah, you just get the ship and the equipment. I guess take on bounty hunter missions? I stopped using the ship and used the star eagle instead.

i don't know why people call it "space batman", the mantis is a bounty hunter (batman is not a bounty hunter)
and yes and no to the question "mantis missions", if you fly the "mantis" ship, your enemy's may somtimes panic to see the "mantis" and flee or stop attacking you. i don't think you get special missions, if they exist i did not see them or ignored them lolz.

I had a Random Mission today...
Jumped to a system with the Mantis Ship and companion wearing Mantis Suit.
Had to kill some pirates and safe a trading hauler from them.
They thanked and asked if iam the famous "Mantis"
Had a nice conversation with them

So to answer your question, there are random things happening with Mantis Ship and Suit
approved

Haha I had a brilliant encounter last night. The Pirate chatter was golden.

Pirate 1: "Yeah get some!"
Pirate 2: "Wait a moment.. Something's funny about that ship.. Oh crap it's the MANTIS! SPOOL UP THE GRAV DRIVE!!!"
Pirate 1: "You're ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ me.. Scanning.. ..."
Pirate 1: "HOLY CRAP LETS GET OUT OF HERE"

-Red ships all turn blue, Hastily apologizing or screaming as they warp out one after the other-

Pilot of merchant vessel: "Uh... Who the hell is this Mantis?!?"

Copilot informs his captain of who you are. And if you play into the 'Hero' role for that conversation it's funny.

what cave, its a base in a frozen part of a planet, i call it barely even an underground base. does not even look close to the batcave.
what i would call a batcave is an actual BATCAVE, not an underground base.

"sometimes". I had to jump through some lvl 50 systems to get to Victor's pad. on one jump there was a pirate and they said "The Mantis?! this is gonna be good!" blew me right out of the universe. I reloaded and came in with my grav drive on the boil and hauled ass off to the next system

Hhhhmmm.... I took a mission to clear the pirate fleet at Kryx.... Not knowing the mission would send me to The Key..... where more than a dozen ships, plus some pulse cannons were there to greet me. Needless to say, I didn't last long.... couldn't even run away. (and not enough time to jump away....) Wonder if going there in the Mantis ship would change that. :D

You know the batcave is an underground base, so I can´t see the confusion.

batcave has "cave walls", has bats hence BATcave, batcave in batman univesrse has a mantion on top, the exit is a long "cave" hall watterfall exit, and not this metal looking underground base who happen to have a ship platform that lower underground "like litterly all cyfy space games" has

someone said, the punisher is way closer to what the mantis is or was, you as character is not the actually mantis.

The base, whatever you call it, was fine.

What most people have a problem with is the helmet that looks like it was molded with a bra on someone’s head, and the cooking apron armor.

It’s one of the best suits for stats, but it’s just so horrible to look at. I don’t understand why they couldn’t make it more unisex
