Play Starfield on PC, or Xbox Series X?

Hey everyone, I received a copy of the game when I upgraded my cpu, but I also have Xbox game pass. My question is, Which one should I play it on for the smoothest experience? I've read and heard how bad the performance is on PC but I haven't heard many issues on the xbox series X. If i'm going to sink well over 100 hours into the game, Id like to not be constantly frustrated with the performance. Has anyone tried both and liked one over the other?

7700X
32gb ddr5 6000 ram

Both versions will get better and more stable over time.

The most important question in my opinion is - do you like modding ? If yes, you will have far more mods on PC, and only a very slim selection on Xbox, and even that probably half a year or a year later.

For me modding is the highlight of any Bethesda RPG, so playing on console would be out of the question for me personally.

My PC is way worse than yours and performance is pretty good, they exaggerated the requeriments by a lot.
