Same thing happened in Skyrim. I had just bought the game and was playing around with crafting and found the potion/enhance armor loop.
At level 5 (or maybe it was higher) I could literally kill dragons with one swing w/o magic.
yep made the game super easy even on the hardest difficulties.
So was it fun? yep. but long term enjoyable? nope.
for analogy it was like have a candy bar to satisfy your hunger rather than a full meal.
so the OP is hear boasting he found design flaw that accelerated his grow. Not impressed.
however there are casual gamers that appreciate a design flaw to accelerate their grow.
on the other hand a true hard core gamer does not. you do the game with more and more handicaps. back in the day, like 1993 (that 30 years ago for you youngins
Build outpost. Win. But be careful. Someone on the forums will tell you how you screwed your own game by playing it. Even better, simply levelling up according to some is ultimately game breaking so you should sit at level 4 and keep the game difficult
Start a new game with different character, and don't farm.
I'm 50 hours in, lvl 20, only on 5th main quest, just having fun.
If you want to farm and grind play ED.
Literally bum rushing leveling by crafting insane amounts of stuff rinse repeat just to level quickly is not "playing for the long run". The only point to doing that is to become OP. I know I can hyper level by just sitting at an outpost that mass produces everything I need to just create an exotic and I can power level, but I don't do that I just play the game normally.
The absolute cope and milky undertone of these people is hilarious.
The reality is , the game is hugely flawed to the point that levelling up arbitarily destroy the games challenge and the excuse is, dont level to "x level" when the reality is, the game becomes trivial around level 80+ anyway, it just gets worse the higher you go. You can play on very hard, and guess what , it doesnt change anything.
They really did a terrible job of balancing what is already an unbalanced mess of a game, where some weapons were just designed to be bad? some suits are just designed to be useless? and some items just exist for the sake of it, but they forgot that people will level up, people will become powerful, and instead of the game following that curve with some form of challenge you get forum andys exclaiming thats ok and you shouldnt rush, guess what, in 3 months time when you arrive at 150 or 200 or 300, youll be in the same position.
Just delete your save, do it, you obviously broke your game...
lmao, that absolute state of people peoples thought process makes me think they are either bots or actual children where starfield is their first game.
The problem is, they made a game that gets worse the stronger you get because it doesnt account for any of your power increases and subsequently makes NG+ a pointless trivial nothing burger content farm.

this is what the game looks like ... when you level up...this was around level 160 or some such
