But you're by definition not understanding the word exploit, and you can insult my intelligence all you want, it will only get you banned, make your arguments look weaker and rather then ask if I have made an outpost assuming I haven't when it's irrelevant again makes your arguments weaker when I have said over and over crafting itself CAN be exploited, but you DID exploit it, just as any part of the game you can get results that the developers obviously did not intend, like the Destiny loot cave. Opening a chest is intentional, getting infinite loot obviously not.
Also where is the source on: "Todd himself categorically said the intent of NG+ was to make it challenging later on.."
And because you were not intended to open that chest over and over again, you exploited the chest. Them not banning people over it, doesn't mean anything. Not every exploit needs to lead to a ban.
In this case Starfield intends for you to get xp crafting, it does NOT intend for you to have a cot next to your crafting station on a low rotation planet and grind out 200 levels. That is the exploitation.
And i wouldn't be surprised if your actions, especially since you now complain about the results of your exploits, lead to the removal of XP or capping of XP from crafting.
What you are doing is exploiting and you can stamp your foot and exclaim this is wrong all day.... doesn't change the fact that Crafting clearly isn't intended to let you grind out hundreds of levels doing F-all and playing Starfield as a Clicker.
And if you wouldn't be here complaining about the results of you exploiting the hell out of the fact that you get a pittance of XP for crafting, we wouldn't be having this "conversation". But alas here you are.. complaining that you exploited a mechanic until the game became "boring"... well.. start a new game, don't exploit the mechanic. Problem solved.
When you get back to level 300+ the intended way, then we can maybe entertain the need to discuss the difficulty.
use elements of a game system in a manner not intended by the game's designers, in a way that gives a substantial unfair advantage to players using it."
Grinding out hundreds of levels = not intended.
im sure they intended that you do nothing but sit at ur desk for 10+ hours doing NOTHING but crafting.... Hey maybe they did... And im sure then they expected you to complain when the game was to ezy and just wanted to listen to people complain on steam fourms
Seriously, how would you know? By all accounts if you play the game regularily then going through multiple NG+ is where the difficulty is supposed to come in. You are clearly not supposed to grind out 300 level in your first playthrough. You are likely supposed to reach level 300 in your 10th NG+ or whatever and who knows what the game looks like then.
Eh no it is not, there is no level cap in Starfield. I mean you even need lvl 60 for some of the top end ship parts to show up at shipyards etc
I swear it wasn't a cesspool years ago, or maybe my memory is just playing tricks on me, but you could have discussions.
It would have been great if there was like an endless dungeon type thing or something you could do.
I'm level 7 lol
Counter Strike, back in the 90ties, was the original cess pool. The OG toxic community. It is where it all started. So yeah, no... Valve's stuff was always a toxic cesspool.
