This is exactly my point. It doesnt matter how you get there, its the fact when you do...the game is pointless, there is literally no challenge, nothing to do other than repeat fetch quests you already did and kill level 1-75 enemies depending on where you go, and some 110 elites which also die in one hit...
nothing changes except some narrative stuff and the constellation people depending on the multiverse you get but thats literally it...like whats the point. I though it will get harder or offer more challenge or something you get nothing... just the ability to grind power levels for no reason.
Yes there will be people who reach absurdly high levels, NG+ is not "Designed" with the intention to beat the game repetitively, it's there as a tool to wipe your game progress. If you want challenge this is not the game for you, nor Skyrim, nor Fallout, because you can very easily overpower most enemies and with some time invested you can overpower everything but the Uber bosses (2 I think, a Giant and Umbra)
I think there is a legitimate argument to make for harder options, a harder mode, scaling options, bigger threats instead of random crimson with 3x health bars. But those will all be redundant if someone does this exploit anyway, even Dark Souls will have a soft cap because you just don't have enough scaling to compete against enemies. This dude will hit 300 with scaling, get obliterated by a scaled mob and complain the game is unbalanced because Todd didn't personally check every level in an infinite scaling system
those videos are unlisted , and i dont do youtube, but some people are not smart enough to understand how the game works. so it was important for me to explain through the context of a video.
It is the same point you had at level 100. Based on your stats you did F-all in the game and just grinded levels. Since you are clearly having a clicker mentality that needs to see level numbers go up, i suggest you keep doing that.
And what point would that be? I already one shooted enemies at level 5. I found a shotgun, put points into stealth and were able to one shot most enemies. So who cares?
If the enemies would scale along with you, then what is even the point of leveling, when you never reach the Power Fantasy point of the game, where all your hard work pays off and you actually waltz into a room, murdering everything.
Of course, you didn't work hard, you just grind items in your base. But that doesn't mean that stuff should scale with you.
Congratulations, you realized that if you exploit a mechanic, then eventually stuff will be less fun. I assume you haven't been playing many video games before. I know its a hard lesson to digest but it is what it is.
it's not a cheat, you get a xp for crafting, it's all legit
Also where is the source on: "Todd himself categorically said the intent of NG+ was to make it challenging later on.."
but its not an exploit though....
P.S They did this when the game First came out too........ No NORMAL PERSON is that level or has the GEAR..... But good Job you rushed ur game and you broke it for your self
