It worked fine before as well, though. Very smooth and no problems. Maybe try manually deleting the shaders, for those that are having problems. Not sure how to do it, but I think I've read something about that before.
From the notes this patch seemed to address ReBAR and the UWP version of Starfield. maybe your GPU needs a vBIOS update for ReBAR; your motherboard might as well.
Nvidia can't change the in-game settings. That has to be done by Bethesda.
Played for a while now with the new drivers, and it's still smooth as silk as mentioned above.
I play on 1440p (specs in profile), and with all settings to max (High/Ultra) in game except for shadows, which is on medium. It's what GeForce Experience sets them on when I select the option one notch above 'optimal'. This notch is at the center of the slider for me ('optimal' naturally varies depending on people's hardware). FSR, 80% resolution scale, Dynamic resolution off, VRS on. Locked fps to 72 in Nvidia control panel, but it can drop to about 55-60 in places like New Atlantis.
Not tried the DLSS mod yet. As long as it works as good as it does, but might try it later.
