Saves suddenly says modded

For an unknown reason my saves now are marked modded, but i have not installed any mods.
What is going on here?

Reloading an old unmodded save, then saving it again will go into the modded saves.
How do i fix this?

Easiest way is to remove the mod you installed

did you by any chance use console commands ?
if so, maybe you changed something that can be changed back before you load up an unmodded save?

You probably fat fingered the tilde key instead of escape. The game warns you using the console deactivates achieves.

You can use a mod to reactivate achievments. I used it because I HAD to use the console to advance quest progress( follow whats her name , Freestar Rangers quest chain) ... she'd just stand there after you follow her and it wouldn't progress. So I used the console, used the console command and then ditched the mod.

I did use coc at some point to warp me to that constant ship... but that was futile, so i immediately load a quicksave after that.

I really dont like it when single player games deactivate achievements because of mods.
..and I think it's especially stupid if a bethesda game does it.
