Yup I loved that game back in the day even though the ground combat meta of spamming rocket launcher robots gets really old after 30+ hours.
I enjoyed Rebel Galaxy on my first playthrough but didn't really have any desire to go back and play it again. Starpoint Gemini Warlords is a similar game but with 4x elements and fleet management.
One of my fav games of all time. I've been patiently waiting for the HD mod to finish before revisiting it.
Drox Operative II - the space "Diablo."
This looks pretty cool actually, might check it out.
Just when I thought I know most of the Space Games, another one pops up.
Did you say fleet management?
Well Aurora 4x got you covered, if you can deal with very simple 2D graphics. It’s also free.
