Ok so it's a good idea to do the side quests in the first game and then feel free to speed run up to NG+3.
Thanks, that's more or less what I want to know.
I feel bad I'm not having MORE fun with the game but it's still fun ENOUGH.
mackrealiv said that it's HG+3 stuff starts changing a bit, have you not experienced anything like that?
Its more like a ester egg then the actual addition to the game. Something random might happened in the lodge, but it doesn't really worth the troubles, and the story won't really change in any way
Ehhhhhhh, atm I'm already curve stomping everything I don't think I need EVEN MORE power.
It's a baffling decision because everyone has a different experience -- some might not encounter them, and it encourages speed-running universes. I'm already having a difficult time keeping playing given the *incredible* grind and the frustration of having to repeat certain NPC interactions, like Neon merchants.
With any luck there might be a mod to liven things up.
There is not much point in downloading an NGP10 game, as that game itself is much the same as an NGP1 game - its the experience of getting there that matters.
Anyway I rushed the main quest the first time as I wanted to see what is was all about, after that I found it more interesting to concentrate on the rest of the Galaxy.
How to approach the game with that knowledge is really more dependent on what would be fun for you, as others have pointed out it is a random chance, that seems to start at NG+3 and ends with NG+10.
As we don't have any details on the DLC I am personally apprehensive about rushing to NG+10, just doing what I want until NG+3 then going to look for a NG+ I feel like settling down in until the DLC. That is me, you do you.
