This game is AWESOME

It was marketed as Skyrim in space.
I wanted Skyrim in space.
I literally got Skyrim in space.

I am addicted and I can’t possibly see any valid reason why somebody who likes sci fi rpg’s would fail to recognise this game for what it is. A classic Bethesda experience. Do quests, collect stuff, upgrade stuff, get companions, make them do stuff. Brill.

If you was expecting anything different from what we got then that’s your own fault. I saw Todd say it will be Skyrim in space and oh boy was he telling the truth.

0 crashes and 0 bugs on Xbox in the 20 odd hours I’ve played it. Some weird eye stuff happened once but I laughed so hard that it actually added to my experience.

Will be playing this game for years to come!

Same. I'm having so much fun with Starfield and I feel like there is still so much for me to see and do and explore, and then replay differently. Then we get to play with mods, and DLCs.

I'm a happy gamer. Feel bad for all the people who've bought into the idea that they aren't allowed to enjoy the game.

Its more like a daggerfall in space. But i like daggerfall so :P

Was actually expecting aliens in space, not only killing space marines. The combat is blahh and every planet you go to has the same lab and fight the same marines. Where are all the cool aliens and weapons.

Most of the criticism is subjective. I do think Bethesda poorly managed expectations. But the backlash is too hyperbolic to take seriously anymore, at this point it’s becoming one of those pop culture moments where the actual valid thing at the heart of the movement is lost; it’s a feedback loop now
