[Bugs] Parts of New Atlantis disappearing / Cargo reappearing.

Anybody has had this bug where parts of New Atlantis just disappears? Like the floor, doors, kiosks?
Without the kiosk, I have to go all the way to a commerce where they'll buy my stuff to be able to sell. Very annoying.

Also, my original cargo on my ship, from when I started the game and didn't know you can't just loot everything and get away with it, keeps reappearing each time I modify my ship.... Quite annoying modifying my ship and then go on a mission, try to unload some loot to get the "Cargo full" message each time and I'm like, I just sold everything, that's impossible and BAM, everything is in there again.

Same. I didn't realize but I might be having the cargo issue as well. I kept thinking maybe it was just adding the junk items from the default setups but maybe it's actually what you're saying but from a point in time where I had very few items there.

I'm glad someone spotted this, I thought I was just losing my marbles. So many times I've found my cargo hold completely overstuffed with all manner of junk that I've then had to offload and sell YET AGAIN.

Objects not loading only usually happens if you're running it on a hard drive.

The game is installed on a 1TB Samsung M.2 NVME 980 PRO... And the bug is permanent, meaning it's still the same whether I reload or not, restart the game or restart my entire computer. The thing disappearing are just gone, not "not loaded" and it's always the same across reloads.

If its gone forever, and not just failing to load one time, it suggests memory corruption. Usually from a buffer overflow or something like that. Perhaps you have too many items somewhere causing issues? Maybe if you send your savefile to them they could find the issue and fix it. Not much else can be done unless you have specific steps to reproduce it.

I wonder if you selling a large number of items to the vendors there IS what is causing the issue?

I wouldn't know where to start to even send them my save file but to be quite honest, I paid CAD$ 134 for this game.... It's not my job to debug their game for them. I can report bugs but that's the extent of where I'm willing to go.

As for the many items, they might be related but that doesn't change anything whether they are there or not. One thing I can say is that it is IN the save file, all my save files are corrupted identically, unfortunately, I can't load an old one because I overwrite them after a while, I keep only 5 or 6 save files.

Certainly not your job to try to narrow down reproduction steps, hence why sending a save file and whatever you remember is probably best if you wanted to help resolve it.(Pretty much what you said here + save file) Not sure where either, there their official site / forums probably says somewhere.

I'm running on my NVME SSD samsung 970 evo and stuff is Randomly disappearing as well mostly lockers.

That's the thing, in my case it's not random. It's always the same things not loading/appearing as if they've been remove from the game. Like on New Atlantis for example, it doesn't matter if I load the game directly in NA or if I load it in another system, do some stuff and come back to NA... All the exact same things are gone.

The theory of memory corruption over time seems correct. At first it was just the floor, then the kiosk, then the doors and now the NAT system... It's like NA is disappearing one piece at a time.

This has happened to me as well. From what I've seen online it's a bug when you steal a ship and switch back to your original home ship, possibly while docked to a station or other ship. The only actual fix is to reload a save before you took the ship. Which is great but I didn't realise the kiosk and things were gone until 5 hours later. Really puts me off the game going back that far. I expected some bugs but nothing that'd lose me progress like this.

Hopefully some others having the issue can find a save and get it sorted and test if it works for them.

Edit: I tested loading my save before stealing the ship. I didn't steal it and then went to New Atlantis instead. Everything is normal there in this save and testing any save after I'd taken over the ship has all the stuff broken/missing in New Atlantis. Hopefully this will work for some others having this weird stuff happening.

Yes. The trade Kiosk and parts of the flooring and walls are missing at the New Atlantis space port. This is some sort of compilation bug or driver error. I had this working perfectly fine before updating GPU drivers and re-compiling shaders.

Oh yes, I do remember something happening to me when I stole a ship. I was docked at a station and when I undocked I got some buggy mess... took a few minutes to load the map but I wasn't in space anymore and not docked, I was in New Atlantis as if I landed there.

A known bug that resets the default junk in your cargo each time you interact with the ship build/upgrade features.

The thing is I had a ton of dumbells and other heavy stuff... so it fills up to the brim each time. Quite annoying.
