Do I lose armor/protections if my Spacesuit is hidden?

If I'm in a settlement and start fighting am I losing the stats my spacesuit gives?

Simply check character stats or inventory equipment & they should be Equipped.

I don't believe so as it is only hidden and not unequipped. If it was unequipped I'd say yes.

Btw only thing that can be hidden is the Helmet & not the Suit in breathable Areas, unless i'm not seeing the option to hide the Space Suit Oo
