Are there other sites besides Nexus out there? What do you recommend and please be cautious explaining as to why. Thanks

Yes, other sites exist but they aren't nearly as large as Nexus is.

currently on gamepass and that's been easy to mod so far (dlss and performance)

There's a guy on YouTube, MxR I believe is their name. He showcases a lot of mods for many games including this one.

Without knowing what you are looking for not really as Nexus is the largest "generic" mod site and the others are more specific in the mods they offer.


If you want NSFW mods you go to Lovers Lab.

If you want mods that are politically incorrect you go to Based Mods.

If you want mods made by the same team that were responsible for the Unofficial Patches you go to AFK.


After Nexus started pushing mod creators away they scattered so if you are fan of a particular modder you might be forced to track down thier discord.

Moddb is usually okay for bigger mods. That being said, it'll be a while before anything is on there for Starfield.
