I would kill for a VATS mod
Playing on a controller and would appreciate some help with aiming, seeing how gun fighting is such a big part of the Starfield gameplay.

I have comfortably finished Fallout 4 on a controller and I greatly appreciated VATS over there.

I Hope someone decides to mod this in to Starfield, even if it’s a paid mod.

Vats would've at least made combat slightly carry the bad story.
Why are there no Vats....sci-fi colonization boon would be an even more viable place for them...

You get a revamped form of VATS from the completion of the main story. It doesn't help you aim this time around, but it does stop time.

VATS for this game ?? I don't think it would be possible since it's a Fallout Feature ( Bethesda Coded when making Fallout ). If the game is to hard then change the setting to easy..

VATs was mainly to spice things up with comedic moments of slow-mo shooting a specific body part off while they're rushing at you.

Stopping time misses the point entirely.

My memory ain’t what It used to be. What was this topic about again?

They could of done it space combat has vats but maybe its the approach they didn't want to take. My biggest concern with the game is the ui the inventory system. Food and aid should be separate and locating your weapons and stats is a chore a option to label gear and guns etc as junk which you can sell altogether would be good but the maddest thing is the menu in and outs my b button on game pad is getting worn out.

+1 really is the old VATS way of combat. Modding as always may be the solution. Still reckon it would suit being in the main game.

Plus nice for a real game play topic thread here for a change. Lately its all a bit fallout wasteland 'discussion' at times.

Exactly that.

Can't you get a vats like system by leveling up science and unlock the jump pack effect at the end. Believe there is a thing that slows down combat while boosting

Vats came out because of Fallout 1 & 2 which are turn base. Fallout 3 has vats being frozen in time while you aim at the head. Fallout 4 just slows down time.

VATS (dat wordplay tho) for? Never used it in any Fallout.
