Isolation + Starborn spacesuit = ?

I have been wondering about this perk and this specific spacesuit. It counts only as spacesuit (chest), yet Isolation gives you buffs PER spacesuit item equipped (chest, pack, helmet). Does it still count as 3 pieces or did Bethesda ♥♥♥♥ the bed again?
