Selling loot from outpost
Haven't seen being able to, so quick idea
Outpost vendor
A workstation where, when crewed, will sell any item in containers linked to it, but it won't be "you're gone for a day and EVERYTHING is sold", more like "will slowly convert items into money (but not more than if you sold it yourself).
A risk should be that now pirates and spacers know you there's both goods and credits there, so higher chance of attcks.

And if you link a manufacturing chain to it, it could generate "infinite" credits (since it won't run out of goods to sell), but the more it sells of one kind of thing the slower it should become (a "supply and demand" effect).

To me it would mainly be an extra way to sell off weapons and suits, but a welcome one.

I'd love to be able to do that, haven't really delved into outpost building YET, started one to clear that 'quest part out' threw down a storage crate for solid stuff and enjoyed getting the weight back from all the resources. Would be nice to be able to offload my guns/suits at an outpost, although, it would massively make selling contraband a joke, UNLESS those were blacklisted from outposts of course.

I would say that blacklisting contraband from outpost selling is a "duh".

So, can you see the mod coming? Because a commercial outpost is basically what everybody else but the player is doing :claugh:

I was looking for this, and just found a mod for that (didn't try it, yet).

There is a problem, the high "taxation" on captured spaceships exists because Bethesda didn´t want you to get rich overnight.

The problem with the current mining/production capabilities is that you would get filthy rich by doing absolutely nothing apart from setting up a few drilling rigs, containers and links. You can already do it, it just requires a bit of leg work and is only limited by the cash vendors have.

I have a little production setup, each item sells for 10 and I produce about 30.000 each sleep cycle, I gave up on it since I can´t sell the stuff and in the end ... there is no point unless you want to build ships willy nilly non stop.
