You literally start every Elder Scrolls game as a prisoner.
Afterwards it's just a matter of becoming Starborn rather than Dragonborn.
Also, between HBO's chernobyl and Deep Rock Galactic, miners are kickass.
And now you aren´t feeling special anymore because noone praises you right from the start and doesn´t want you to be their leader after doing two pointless fetch quests ??
Mindblowing.
May be a starborn later but at first you are a miner which means starfield doesn't make you feel that special character right from the beginning of the game. Instead it forces you to spend time playing and earn your starborn badge
No you're not. Literally everyone is surprised at what you're doing. There is no prophecy that says you'll do it. There is no reason to believe you'll do it. Multiple characters with what might be termed prophetic awareness loudly exclaim about how amazed and astounded they are that you, YOU, are doing this.
I mean not really? You don't know you are dragonborn until you progress the story far enough to actually gain powers. You could start the game and completely ignore the main story and never gain a single shout or fight a single dragon for many hours. I just did this in my last play through. Ignored the main story to play a non-dragonborn style characters. Outside of Alduin you don't even see dragons in game until after you fight the first one at the tower.
