Reloading older save is out of question for me, I did some other quests in meanwhile so don't wanna lose that progress, and sleeping or fast-travel to another place and come back also doesn't trigger anything.
"Listen to Mei Devine's Introduction" is all there is and keeps standing :/
I read on reddit you can use the console to trigger the event, but that probably blocks the achievements so I guess I just have to wait for them to ever patch this one of many bugs -_-
I have now 3 missions alraedy that I cannot complete due to bugs :(
It bugged out like that for me also. So I loaded a save before I talked to her and then when I told her I was ready to run it, I nudged her toward the stage as she walked away and it fixed it.
She's meant to walk over to the stage and introduce you.
I tested by reloading (I'd quick saved before speaking to her), and talked to her slightly later, but still while she was talking to the bar staff, and it still bugged out.
Reloaded and waited till she stopped talking to the bar staff, and she walked over to stand by the guard near the steps. Talked to her there, and it all worked fine after that!
I'm eager to know how he feels about it, or if it starts a quest but the excruciating delay to start the run is laughable and I'm not that patient.
More insulting is that no one, literally no one- including Mei, acknowledges that you finished the supposedly intense (for betting and spectating) run. They probably had a meeting during development and someone said, "You know, the Arena was popular in Oblivion...let's do that again." and then handed it off to an intern...
