Only 2 romance options

I mean sure you can romance the same sex but even if your not straight then there's only 2, I mean 2 is pathetic and they are all goody two shoes. Skyrim had like 60, I personally think we should get a romance companion for every play style or just give us a new romance companion with main companion level skills that agrees with whatever you chose to do and to ensure they are a companion for everyone make it possible for us to take them to the genetics facility and change their appearance.

This way they only need to make one new companion and everyone will be able to have a character they are attracted too and won't turn in to a mardy pile of trash every 5 seconds. Hell the adoring fan is the best companion, highest carry capacity and does not care what you do. If they want to make companions care about your actions they need companions for every play style.

Even the bloody ex smuggler and thief character is upset by you stealing like seriously what kind of stupid joke is this. Give us a customise able love interest that is just as morally grey or down right evil as the player is as lets face it when the dev make it so there's choice but clearly there's a right and a wrong choice in their eye's they've made a bad RPG. You can't role play if your role is already chosen by the dev's and going against what they chose for you will punish you.

So come on bethesda you've spend like a decade making this game and 25 year's thinking and planning according to yourselves and no one said this game should be for everyone not just the people that wan't to be the next dragon born in space. You need more open minded dev's or to learn what RPG actually means

look. if you're going to include it, elaborate on it. i agree with the op. make game-changing consequences for spending your time in that fashion.

but honestly i'd really rather turn the whole relationship thing off. i don't need "hump simulator" mixed in with my space rpg fun.

Pretty sure you'd just walk up to someone with Amulet of Mara equipped, ask them to marry you, have a ceremony, and that was it. Not exactly romance.

Would it be nice to have more options? Sure. Has it mattered to me at all so far? No. Still having the time of my life with this game and looking forward to what mods and DLCs will add to it. Crazy good so far.

I don't understand why anyone would want to romance an NPC to begin with. It's not like you get any tangible benefits (other than a tiny buff) or even that it adds to the story in any meaningful way. I usually ignore romance options unless there is a tangible benefit.

There are at least four options maybe more, and it isn't required. You can do the whole game without that.
