Mantis Quest
I feel like this quest just makes you completely OP and wrecks the excitement of the game after you get the rewards.
Anyone else think that?

Also that puzzle was stupid as you could just sprint to the other side XD

I don't know about OP, but it does give you armor that you won't replace for dozens of hours, which makes looting a bit less exciting.

It's in a level 30 zone. If you go there at level 10, the loot better be overpowered.

Actually, all you need to do is hack the computer and turn off all the turrets.

The ship sucks and the armor from the UC storyline is way better.

But it's a master level lock so if you don't have security 3/4 it won't work.

The best thing about the armor is it's lightweight, I actually found some Mercenary armor that has better stats but is nearly double the weight. The ship is OK, the pack actually steals the show, with the weight bonus. Overall it gives you a nice jump start, but you can build something nearly similar on your own with modifications later.

What was the answer on the puzzle? I thought it was her phrase she kept mentioning but that wasn't it. I gave up an chucked a grenade at the turrets and that took out all of them.

The solution for the puzzle ist quite easy if you take a look at the letters and listen carefully to one of the previous audio logs.

I feel the opposite. I was already past level 25 when I did the Mantis quest. I had better gear all around. I had better weapons, a much better ship and significantly better armor. It was a cool mission and story, but I was let down by the reward. Wish I had done it sooner.

I did this quest at like level 8 with a 40mm grenade launch and like 40 grenades, like over 10 hours later and im still using the ship and the gear, if the place had more work benches, I would be using the bat erm mantis cave as my house. It's weird because it's definitely an early game quest but its level 30 so may deter many people from trying until the loot is unrewarding.

That ship I think is the best for combat in the game for such a long time!

Yes, it is the best to do it between lvl 10-15 to get max benefits
