However, I find my scan tool does not distort like the first one did and the only way I've found the anomalies thus far is using my sniper rifle's scope. This is only my second power I'm working on. I hope this mission is not bugged.
Any tips on the other anomalies would possibly help me. I also notice when I look at the ground map while scanning, it says I need to speak with someone. I can't find her either.
Solved it with this in the console:
stopquest 000854E8
startquest 000854E8 ; Power from Beyond
That's my point m8, I want to collect them all first - and then upgrade them all, one by one. I even sacrificed Sarah and let Barret live due to that goal :P
If you happen to have landed on that temple planet before the temple was allowed to spawn.
Then you created a generic map tile; permanently blocking the temple from spawning.
While still being able to see the smaller temple anomalies, this also blocks the remaining powers that follow, all you can do atm is clean the slate with ng+
And do not land on random planets; unless a mission sends you there, its a major city planet, you know youve already got that temple.
Bethesda knows about the bug.
But if its already baked into your save; how can they fix it?
Without allowing all the temples to spawn into the galaxy at the start of each ng.
You can always use console commands to work around it.
Wait a sec. Does that mean I cannot find that gorram temple because it could happen I landed there once 2 weeks real time and 60 levels before? That's fantastic, whole idea of exploration and surveying goes to sh*****.
I am still trying to figure out how I can "find" the POIs for those two that locked out. In my case, missing temples Pi and Epsilon. I know one of the two is on Piazzi IV-C; hoping I can use that info to track down the cell.
Otherwise, I'd have to either NG+ [prefer not to at this time] or add the missing powers via console.
UGH!
Thanx, that explains a lot. Anyway, it's still rich - get stuck or use console to debug and lose all remaining achievements (like Boots on the Ground). Ok, I got a question now - If I'll start new game and use console for debugging if necessary - will it affect my previously saved character (pure vanilla, console never used)?
You know what pal? Go to hell. I remember same sh**ty complaints about Cyberpunk. "Sh**tty game, cyberbug, refunds, you're idiots you're still playing it..." - whole kit and kaboodle. Game is masterpiece now.
