Ryujin Questline Bug [SPOILERS]

Ok, so I've completed the Sabotage quest and it doesn't give me the next mission. I've figured out that the reason as to why this happens is if you end up pissing off Bayu because you didn't talk to him or you failed the persuasion check and decided to go ahead with storming off to find Imogene at the Seokguh Syndicate hideout, you end up getting an extra quest added called 'Managing Assets'.

If you get this quest, congratulations you have now pre-locked your Ryujin questline. Once you complete the quest normally, it will remove it from your To-Do Missions section, but it never fully registers as "Completed". (Image of quest) https://imgur.com/Kwwcvav

If you proceed any further with the Ryujin Questline, like I did, and complete the Sabotage quest, it will bug out because the game detects that you haven't completed all the quests (even though you did) and will never give you the final conference room meeting quest.

So there's another Ryujin questline bug? Awesome. We're still trying to figure out the one where you kill Ularu and The Key Ingredient doesn't update. Sabotage is after that, I believe, so to stay relevant to your topic did you kill Ularu? We're told to see Dalton about the mole and that there will be a conference meeting we're required to attend. I don't have a "Managing Assets" mission update myself so I'm worried we may run into another bug which is yours even if our bug gets fixed.

I did, and you might be right. I think I mistook the 'Managing Assets' quest to be the source of the problem. If you were curious as to if it could lead to another bug, try storming the Syndicate hideout without getting permission from Bayu, it should give you that quest.

Not a problem, just looking for solutions like yourself and thought our problems might be related.

I can't verify through your suggestion, since I did speak with Bayu but was forced to slaughter everyone in order to get the slate he wanted, therefore there's no one to be hostile to me lol.

To be clear, I spared Imogene since her suit didn't look as "ronin" as Ularu's, and I had heard that sparing her sees her return by the questline's conclusion. I also moved forward with my decision to kill Ularu since I wanted her suit and I didn't like the other ways that mission ended.

With the quest still bugged, I haven't completed "The Key Ingredient" yet because turning it end does not trigger the next mission and there is zero interaction with Dalton afterwards if you do (this is our bug), which means I am stuck with the rothicite shipment and 15 weight on me that's sort of a pain in the butt. So I don't see a "Managing Assets" quest trigger either unfortunately.

There must be something more to it which triggers the bug since I completed this questline yesterday myself and I did the whole "Storm off looking for her without asking permission from anyone" thing, I got the extra mission to appease the dude, everything went fine.

There is another thread that I'm in, someone managed to progress by spawning in Ularu prior to talking with Masako around the end of Sabotage and it allowed the mission to trigger.

i havent killed anyone yet , asked for permission from the guy, blagged him so he didnt need a favour, all clean and smooth in the mission so far, collected all the evidence etc from the long winded and somewhat broken stealth mission, now cant turn in the quest to the SSNN idiot as he is off the map ... not even just under the lake .... like off the map ... and if i fly my ship to just outside the city and land to look for him ... mission marker says get back into ship and fly to new atlantis .... go there and then run all the way out of the city trying to get to marker ... awesome .... i really wanna finish this quest line before moving on...

does anyone know an admin command / console command that can spawn this idiot back in the SSNN field office ? (or where ever i happen to be standing as a spawn command would be :D)

I was having the same issue with this quest line but I didn’t kill Ulara. My issue ended up being that my dead character was following me after the wake. That also was causing me not to be able to switch to any other follows except Vasco. So to resolve the issue I selected vasco to follow me and then I could select any of my other followers. The sabotage quest also worked with no need for consoles or mods. So this should work on the Xbox too.

my bug is that as soon as I finished the Sabotage part of the quest I got flagged by all cities as unwanted, ie it says if I stay longer in town I will become hostile and I cannot rest in those areas. I didnt kill anyone and I wasnt flagged for anything nor do I have a bounty. I can't stay in Akila or Jemison. Had to reload an old save an forget this questline.

I have a bug with one character where the Executive Level quest bugs out on making Ularu CEO, but works fine if I push for Masako, despite killing Imogene and trying to side with Ularu...

Not sure why it just freezes character after board meeting ends from picking Ularu, but it does... No idea why...

setstage 0018B718 100.

Worked for me.
