Drop single item from stack or drop stacks as singles with one click

I'm using my time wisely, filling a lower section of my ship with tissues, toilet paper, and skin cream. I find myself wishing I could drop a single item from a stack with one click. That, or drop a whole stack in single pieces instead of a stack.

You click on the stack, click R, then the number you want to drop. How will the system know you only want to drop 1 unless you tell it?
