{Crash FIX} 100+fps (RTX 4000 series) MUST HAVE
DLSS 3.5 and Frame Generation mod was just updated by Luke and there are zero crashes and amazing FPS gains

https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/761?tab=description

RTX 4070 here and I'm getting 90FPS average outisde and cities, while in closed areas and planets I'm getting 120 -> 144 fps locked

Hope it helps for anyone with 4000 series card and doesn't know about this mod.

Trust me, makes a night and day difference.

Also this is recommended for users with 2000 series or 3000 series, its also going to give you better results and image quality PLUS fix any crashes you may encounter!

Use it even if you dont have it. You're surely going to benefit 10+20fps!

Using it since several days been posting it here all over the place, love it.

Glad the 40 series is getting support.

I have a 3060ti and while the game is mostly above 60 frames it still dips below in cities on even Medium settings with the DLSS/Mod.

Hopefully Nvidia wake up and gives a new driver or someone does something.

thanks again, nvidia, for letting 3000 series users down.

Be sure to update it to latest version which came hour ago. It helps with any random crashes that may happened. Now its running flawlessly.

Frame generation specifically cannot work on anything other than 40 series, because it's partly hardware based, and that hardware does not exist in the form needed for that to function, specifically the 4th Gen Tensor Cores. Other parts of DLSS 3 might function, somewhat, but as to which bits, and how, we don't know.

But to be honest, I'm almost certain that 3000 series will get support for Frame Generation sooner or later. 2000 series no, but 3k series I think it will

Nice. I've had trouble getting quality settings to stick with DLSS mods so far - especially noticeable with metal surfaces in ship interiors - even on Ultra certain things (ladders, some walls and containers) would be plain and flat like on the Low setting. Hopefully this will clear it up, thanks!

Try it out! Also, there is instructions and details on how to configurate config.json file that gets created once you install the mod and boot the game for the first time.

You can change DLSS from Quality, Max Performance etc.

If you need help with that, be sure to leave comment here, I'll help you out!

I get a huge frame and quality boost with this, but also I get screen tearing. I've got my frames limited and have vsync enabled but neither helped.

Make sure you use reshade with sharpening, the included sharpening doesn't work that well.

Hmm, on what FPS you capped the game? Also, how you capped the FPS? Via NViDIA control panel or by configuring config.json file?

5800x3d + 4070ti mix of ultra/High preset. Went from 55 FPS to 120 (manually capped) in New Africa. Frame generation Is a must when devs release a game with no optimization
