HAHA! I sense sarcasm. Seriously though OP. I totally get what you're saying. "Why are we getting frostbite while in our spacesuits?". Seekrt is also hinting at the perk called Environmental Protection.
Well technically, vacuum being an insulator, a space suit doesn't need to be insulated against heat loss - getting ridd of heat is already a problem in space - thus, when used in an environment with a dense but very cold atmosphere, a normal space suit would indeed fail to keep you warm.
But yea, the game mechanic being broken and Bethesda - being Bethesda - refusing to fix it is the more likely explanation...
I did get 3/4 of cellular regen and environmental protection, they help a bit but aren't perfect.
Bethesda wants to subtly tell us that they rather wanted to use the Frostbite engine.
This is probably one of the least annoying bugs in the game tbh though. Bethesda is a joke, this game is ridiculous.
i say make the game 500 bucks and release the complete version
