I dont think they cancelled Prey 2 to make this. Prey 2 wasnt even made by Bethesda.

Still, it does make me sad we never got Prey 2. It looked awesome, and I'd gladly play it as it was then, even if it came out today.

There was only one Prey 2, it was by Human Head Studios and it was in "pre-beta" i.e. alpha after literally 7 years of development in 2013. It was a ripoff of Mass Effect, made by the incredibly delusional Chris Rhinehart who hasn't made a good game since and will never make a decent game again. Anyway the game's development was canceled before Fallout 4 was even out so no OP, you lose. There was never going to be a sequel to Arkane's Prey, Bethesda ♥♥♥♥-canned the whole thing causing a meltdown at Arkane that will eventually domino into that studio's closure also.

"Buttholes and Indians" was fine but it was hardly the revelation that you people act like it was. It was basically just a better Doom 3 total conversion than Quake 4 - not exactly a high bar to clear.
