Can Someone Explain This to Me About Terrormorphs?
How were Terrormorphs able to terrorize multiple colonies on multiple planets?

The game will explain it to you through one of the faction quests.

I did some of Vanguard. My point is I think it requires a suspension of disbelief to imagine they could remain hidden on ships and no quarantine protocols were developed after their initial discovery. Also, how are they are able to remain hidden planetside (and move from a spaceport to outside the city to raise their colony)?

Storyline explains exactly what you are talking about. Seriously, just go do it.

Yes, it requires some suspension of disbelief, but not as much as that nobody (including genetic databases) noticed significant similarities in genetic coding between the two.

But it's Bethesda - they are not known for having completely thought-out storylines and not needing suspension of disbelief. In fact, they're well-known for just the opposite.

Unfortunately, I already uninstalled the game after 20 hours :(

I'm hoping it's something more than they are some sort parasite like from Prometheus / Aliens.

UC faction quest explains it. Terrormorphs come from heat leeches. A certain plant causes the heat leeches to mature into terrormorphs. The transformation takes like 1 second. It's pretty dumb/nonsensical if you think about it.

Lol. Thats pretty funny. And the Serpent Cultists discovered this I presume? I did the one quest in Vanguard where it was hinted that the Cultists had links to Terrormorphs (4th or 5th one)

I think from a suspension of disbelief perspective, the larger problem is that Terrormorphs were discovered hundreds of years ago and no one bothered to study their life cycle (except maybe Serpent Cult I guess).

ok I dont play the game in English ao expect wierd word
heat leech (tiny worm like creature) are the "child form" of terrormorphs. They are extremely productive and environment-adapting. They live in the starships by consuming the heat energy and spread to all places where human starships go (you can hear technician s talking about some undermaintained ship become heat leech hive).
Usually it takes 70 years for a leech to mature, thats the reason why terrormorphs only appear in human colony established for a long time.
But in a city called Londinion there is a plany called lazarus grass which can magically accelerate the process, allowing a leech to mature in seconds. This cause the city to be flooded by terrormorphs. The admiral at that time discovered the secret and ordered the orbital bombardment to lock the city down and buried the secret with it.

No, someone else. It's the UC's valued tactician during the war who they later charged with war crimes and faked his execution while actually just keeping him in a cell underneath the city so they could keep utilizing his tactical prowess....

Ok thanks, that's a bit better. Might want to use spoiler tag btw. Is it explained why the admiral would hide the secret though? House Va ruun?
