How to evade the scanning of contraband?

hello, i have some contraband on my ship and i don't know how to pass the scann..it says i have 0% chance of evading it, how do you increase it?

You can purchase shielded cargo modules from the Red Mile to increase the evasion chance.

Also there is the Deception Skill that gives a chance to avoid being scanned (not sure if your ship or your person). Unfortunately the challenges require you to engage in piracy (Force a ship to pay you not toe destroy it) in order to rank it and you cannot do this action on hostile pirate/spacer ships.

Also in lieu of a shielded storage container or deception points there is an alternative. Run over the "The Den" in the Wolf system and see the Trade Authority counter...they'll take anything off your hands and The Den is in an orbit/system that doesn't scan for contraband.

At one occasion I was being scanned, I did a fast-travel inside the planet and... it worked. Was it a bug? Didn't feel good XD

Just go the "The Den" in the Wolf system. Sell your contraband to the trade authroity there. No scans. Either buy what you need from him to increase his funds, or sleep for 48 hours and he resets his limit.

Another alternative is to go to mars, you can land at any landmark on the cydonia map (that you have discovered) before they scan you and then just walk on foot to the city. The den is easier though but Cydonia is an option.

If you can't afford cargo shielding yet you should go to The Den in the Wolf system and sell your contraband. Once at The Den visit the Trade Authority, they don't scan you and will buy contraband. Wolf system is close to Alpha Centauri.

I had a Some Valhoun Heretic Doc and got pinched in Flying into Akilla Paid the 785 fine. Took it from the Confiscation Container and walked down the street to the Trade Authority. Still made a profit.

As Riley would say, its the cost of doing buisiness (I just had it for the pornographic parts where the Great Serpent is ....well you know, I am sure everyone here has read it.

The Red Mile in the Porrima system sells shielded cargo bays and i believe jammers. Also, keep in mind that the more contraband you have in your cargo (while using a shielded cargo bay) the lower the chance of evasion. So if you have 160 of shielded space and you put 160 worth of contraband, you will have a low evasion chance.
