It's aggressively mediocre...
I got it for free, but I must say...

It's aggressively mediocre.
EDIT: Apparently this word combo is upsetting the children, so let me explain: It's not even a bad game, but they're aggressively making it mediocre by removing maps (even Morrowind had a local area map), not improving AI at all since Fallout 4 (they feel even stupider than FO4 bandits), and numerous other decisions that they COULD have fixed but didn't feel it was worth it--make up your own mind on this, but this is elementary design that Bethesda has many years of replicating.

Bad UI.
Washed colours.
Simplistic Grade 9 storyline.
God-awful stupid AI even on 'Very Hard'.
Disabling achievements for console use, who cares? Freaks lmao.
No maps at all?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

Meh. Wait for it on sale, it has some charm, but mods are mandatory (big shock).
They took out maps btw, so it's annoying to find anything at all. Even Morrowind had a map.

EDIT: This game's version of a Deathclaw is the "Terrormorph" and even on Very Hard I killed it by just standing on a ledge and jumping down when it got close; (They throw one right at you in the beginning like Fallout 4 did, totally dissolving any build-up) The terrible AI will ruin this for you so fast. Look at Fallout 76, it honestly feels like Bethesda doesn't have anyone that knows how to code AI for the enemies.

3/10 without mods.
Seriously, the UI is horrendous without the StarUI mod. Borderline unplayable.

Yeah, sounds like a typical Beth game; with slightly fewer bugs.

"Aggressively mediocre" is not a thing, in the English language, nor in any language.

It seems you have mastered the idea that putting words together does not have to result automatically in 'meaning'? Even ChatGPT would not make this mistake.

Mediocrity is the opposite of 'aggressiveness'.
It is literally the 'middle' of something ... anything.
Never extreme. Aggressive is extreme.

Wasn't expecting someone to bypass everything else written in the OP and focus on 2 words, but there it is, lmfao.

oh ... you mean, you said something that has not been said in this forum like 100.000 times in the last couple days?

Did I miss something ... original? Haha  :cozybethesda:

Especially when what you wrote isn't even incorrect.

After 30 hours in game, I agree. This is eight years of effort!? I don't believe it.

If I hadn't gotten it free from the purchase of my new GPU I would have refunded it or would have laughed it off my Steam Sale Wait-and-See list.
You just wanted to say "aggressively mediocre."

Because it is. It's not even a complete disaster, but they're aggressively making it mediocre by removing maps, not improving AI at all since Fallout 4 (they even feel stupider than FO4), and numerous other decisions that they COULD have fixed but didn't..

I had to get a mod (StarUI) just to see what the value-to-mass ratio is. Game was in development for 8 years, why is a UI mod so critical day 1?

Good point to mention btw. I don't have many bugs or anything, which has been great.
