If verifying game files is causing a bluescreen, your problem is NOT the game.

take your comp to a tech they will fix it for you.

Nothing wrong with the pc, I have zero issues running any single other game.

Sounds like maybe your storage drive has bad clusters or faults maybe?

I've never heard of verifying game specific files ever causing BSOD. It sounds like you have deeper issues then just Starfield imo.

I would extensively test out other games to see if that BSOD is repeatable. Also assuming the message the BSOD is trowing up is consistent, you need to google what the error message is and what it means.

I had similar issues on the release of Cyberpunk 2077. I had bought a brand new GPU (3080) played the game perfectly fine for 20-30 hours, then I start getting random crashes, BSOD's...etc. At first I blamed the game and then I found out I had unfortunately gotten one of the early rushed defective RTX 3080's and it had completely died.

Moral of the story is hardware/software issues very rarely are triggered by gaming software, some times its just a game or software exposing a hardware issue that was already present.

It could be Starfield or it could not be, but you will need to do extensive testing on other games to make sure it is not a general HW issue that Starfield exposed. Also make sure to remove any OC's you may have when testing to rule out unstable OC's.

Ya, sorry to say, @OP but it sounds like a hardware issue on your end :(

A blue screen in Windows is almost always due to a hardware fault.

It is a known issue with consoles games, that once the savefile gets to a certain size, the performance dwindle. This was also true for Fallout 4 ie.
Maybe you will see a patch later on that deals with it.

Patch is just trash wait for another to hotfix the fix. Same issue here plus more. Crashing and they gutted the landing animations and you teleport oiutside the ship haha it's worse because of all the complaining. I was enjoying the game just fine too then here come the "fixes" lol.

Sounds like your game drive is about to die. Back up NOW.
