Normally you should be able to sell data to everyone who want it!

Vladimir (on The Eye, or later in The Lodge) pays the best for survey data.

Weirdly enough you can sometimes bug out the survey and get multiple copies of the same survey data.

It's there to be sold. TBH I'd rather get credits deposited into my account directly like with quests, and I'm at the stage of the game where nobody can afford to buy more than 2 of the guns I loot at a time, so I've got a stack of survey data (which is mercifully 0 weight) rotting in my inventory

ONLY place you should sell survey data is The Eye. Massive credits compared to all other vendors. 3k with a normal vendor might be 4500 at The Eye.

Thanks for asking this, as I came here to do the same, not knowing what to do with these data slates. I even searched the net on the subject and didn't find squat on them. Glad I can now get them out of my inventory.

Any reason to sell to Mr. Hill instead? He says he wants habitable worlds but he buys all of them and I don't know an easy way to tell which ones are habitable.
