What counts as "tool grip weapon" ?

I 've found like 8 magazines that "increases tool grip weapon damage" which weapons are these? It's not the laser cutter thats for sure, it's still as slow as it was at lvl 1..

There is an Arc welder maybe? I also found another weapon that I think was like a big nail gun but I never used it.

Tool grip is a weapon mod I think. Sounds like an odd effect, I guess it adds damage modifier to weapons with the mod installed?

Hm ok i'll check, sounds strange then, adding that specific modifier will now increase my dmg with like 18%

if it was a mod, how would you get magazines for it without any mods?

He meant a weapon mod from the research/crafting skill i'm assuming, not something of nexus or basedmods

It should be the cutter and at least one other "dual-purpose" industrial tool you can use to make NPCs very dead. The cutter also has a focus mode, that breaks up tougher minerals faster than the regular, left-clock one and I think it makes it more effective in combat. I haven't bothered to test the latter.

Tool grip weapon means any 'weapon' which is primarily meant to be used as a tool. Specifically these are the cutter, arc welder, and riveter.

Hmmm.... so if you do a lot of NG+... all those tool grip +2 magazines are going to start adding up...

magazines do not stack like that. they don't stack AT ALL, even. it's binary; you either have the effect, or you don't.

Cutter, and maybe Arc Weilder and the Auto-Rivet launcher (Railway rifle basically space style). Those would be the 3 i'd think that book would effect.
