save game cannot be created

once again i am asking for support. i cannot save a game not load one. please help

That's usually caused by a permissions issue of some sort in any game I have ever experienced it in, make sure the games folder in your Documents/MyGames isn't marked as read only, if the Starfield folder in Documents\My games is read only then the game will not be allowed to write files and create saves, If you use OneDrive that could also be messing with Save locations as it changes the location of folders on your PC, I always disable One Drive as I have no use for it and it isnt worth dealing with when it breaks everything.

Still sounds like a system configuration or permissions issue, games don't just fail to write to your disk unless something system side is preventing them the ability/access to do so, but if your case is the rare exception, hopefully Bethesda figures it out some day so you can try the game again when it is on sale
