It's a weird bunker like icon.
But what you can also do is use steam overlay to write notes, write the name of the system and the planet when you land on it. You can even pin the note to the screen.
The symbol as others have mentioned - but the one u are specifically asking about is the system Cheyenne, and the city Akila.
Does that mean that the game doesn't allow for more than one single custom map-marker like in Fallout 4?
Also, I've never heard of using the steam overlay to make notes. Are they automatically saved and so on?
I don't think you can have multiple markers.
For notes, just try it ingame next time.
open the steam overlay
at the bottom of the screen you have a pencil icon. click it.
you can write whatever you want, pin it to the screen and it will stay on after you close the overlay
and yes it saves the notes, so they will be there after you restart the game.
I have multiple notes, one is for the ammo types I need, the other for resources and then one for locations.
It's really helpful because the Ui is kinda bad.
Never occurred to me, so you kinda blew my mind there.
Thanks!
