Wow bethesda... No see through scopes?

I thought this was 2023, not 2005. Fallout 4 modders added see through scopes, and you still can't do it?

What a bummer... Guess I won't be using a sniper build for a while.

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding your complaint, but there are scoped weapons in the game that you can look through using the left trigger on a gamepad.

There are scoped weapons...if you have the right kind and have the mod installed. You may need to update your crafting skills to get to those. You can also loot them.

Right click to use the scope. Left shift to steady your aim.

they mean scopes where you can see the zoomed in image while not zoomed in. this is universally done in games by attaching a camera with a low fov to the front end of the scope, and an output texture rendering the results of that camera. it can be a very expensive trick, resource-wise as you’re essentially rendering an image twice

Just like 90% of every post about this game... its based off a quick assumption and quicker raging. These guys don't actually care, they're just farming points. Doesn't matter if anyone shows anyone of these OPs proof... they'll find something in another 15 minutes that will be the next "Last Straw" to refund... or "Thank God For Modders" stupid post. Its actually quite funny to see so much whining about playing a video game. 1st world problems through and through.

What? I'm not refunding. I'm not mad at the game, just a bit... disappointed that something that has been possible and even normal in shooters since... probably a decade? Still isn't in starfield...


But yeah, I can wait for a mod. Until it is made I just won't use scoped weapons, I hate the full screen thing. It was really cool in ps2 games not so much in 2023.

I agree. I love the scopes where you can still see the surrounding world. I never knew the name for that... but I like that feature and I mod it into any game I can.
I know I modded that into Fallout 4

You implied you were talking about me in your comment... And people have been getting refunds over performance issues with way over 2 hours.

And I actually said I was not refunding. I am enjoying the game, minus a few gripes that can be fixed with mods. Go troll someone else.

When using a scope it goes full screen. That's not a see through scope. You don't look through the scope...
