What's Your Favorite Weapon and Why?

For me...it's a toss up between the particle beam shotgun and the stealth Equinox. I went into lasers, but after fighting Terrormorphs up close that shotgun absolutely rocks!

So far the Experiment A-7 Breach shotgun. It does some nice damage up close and at a distance. Normally I don't like shotguns. Generally I gravitate towards miniguns.

Kraken automatic pistol is the best full auto gun for me.

believe it or not, I've actually found that beast of a gun in the very first quest location. (where vasco wants you to kill the crimson fleet captain) it had a [modern] tag (not sure what that does) and started at 100 damage.

Razorback, Novalight and Hard Target. I did realize that some weapons show up after a certain level threshold.

Razorback because it looks so darn good.
Novalight because it deals huge amount of damage for a pistol, similar to Varuun pistol but novalight sits better with me.
Hard Target because look at that thing. Magnificent beast!

Hard Target and Magsniper are like the only actual sniper in game that shows up after level 50, I had hoped for more sniper early on.

I went laser because I chose explorer. My favorite though probably on me second play through will be rifle projectiles. I like the looks of several of them and there are tons of options.

Hi. I love opening weapon crates and finding uniques.

I found an advanced regulator with 100 phys dmg and it’s been my goto elephant gun for almost any monster.

Since my character focuses on assault rifles I got a legendary old world assault rifle (pretty much is a AK47 with no stock)

And its my main weapon, while my secondary is a old world M1911 pistol.

However I really like the weapon designs in this game, I like the look of most of them. From the high tech laser weapons to the low tech western style weapons I dig most of them.

Yeah assault rifles seem to eat through ammo and lack a bit in damage, but its what I'm focusing on so its the weapon type I;m sticking to.

Although I would argue the "Revenant" Assault Rifle gotten at the end of one missions ,s a BEAST. Its almost too OP lol.

That and the Star Eagle (that ship kicks ass, even before the upgrades)

Any long range sniper weapon with fire damage - first shot don't get 'em - you can see where to land the next one!

I've found a couple Va'ruun weapons. A pistol and a rifle. Both are particle beams that do a ton of damage.

Particle beam weapons seems to do big numbers and Varuun weapons has decent fire rate too.
