But now you'll need to also factor in your monitor resolution.
If your on a 1080p monitor and you move to a 4060 you'll actually lose FPS cause your not at 1440p as contrary as that sounds.
If your on an i5 with a 1080p monitor a 3070 is as big as you can go before you start bottle necking.
Source: I5-8600k, 1070Ti, 16GB DDR4, 1920x1080p monitor. Currently in your position with probably near identical PCs.
Even the best PC can't keep 60 fps at 4k so....keep that in mind
