Cant get to stroud-Eklund staryard
Help! I cant get to it, when I spawn into the orbit of the planet it is just infinitely far away and unreachable, I have tried leaving and saving and coming back and everything, does anyone know how to fix this?

You can't click it on the starmap and set destination?
Jump directly to the staryard

Yeah I can, but when I get there, the station itself is really far away, like boosting for a long time at max thrust barely gets me any closer. I can hail the station but I can never get anywhere close to it to dock.

If you can hail it you shouldn't be that far away from it. How chunky is your ship

I don’t think you’re jumping to the staryard

How stupid do you think I am? I need actual help here, not "did you turn it off and on again"

Calm down no one is saying you are. Just from the information you are providing we can only determine "some" causes. Like my comment if your ship is super heavy it reduces your speed since you say you can hail it but not get to it my thought turned to your ship being heavy that it's slowing you down

It is twice as far away as the surface of the planet it is orbiting is from me, for distance, I would post a screenshot if I could, I tried getting closer but it is so far away it would take me all day if not multiple days of just straight flying towards it.

No way I am calming down after you speak to me like I am brain dead and dont know obvious things.

its a bug, you can try going somewhere else and come back again later and see if it fix itself. its a bug when you try to go to its like 10k kilometers away from you just hope it fixes its self when you come back some other time lol

I am having the same problem. I try to travel to staryard by hitting travel to from map and when i get there its says i'm 8,000km away but i can still hail them. only happened after doing two job board missions for overpriced mission and tried returning. have tried doing a mission and coming back and no luck. if it starts working or i find a fix i will post here.

Travel to another planet. Then select the mission itself to travel to. Maybe that will directly target the shipyard.

You clearly have not read the other posts.

This is similar to traveling to The Eye. You need to zoom in to click directly on the staryard itself in the starmap before jumping. Otherwise you wind up in planet orbit really far away.

If you jumped to the shipyard it should be about 1500 away in distance. You cna dock at around 500 distance.

Not sure why you need to go to the shipyard itself. If you are looking for Stroud parts you can do that in the lobby of their corporate HQ on a terminal.
