Have you considered buying a new PC? This is what all the threads in the forum say about fixing the game.
Thats because Todd Howard says such things.
But im 122 hours in the game without any problems and then suddenly this..
Im already reinstalling the game. Hope it works
Most likely it is an audio codec that has failed somewhere within the game. Hope the reinstall fixes your issue.
Reinstall didnt worked. But after reinstalled the game i deleted the d3d12 folder inside the game folder and did a file check afterwards so it places a new d3d12 folder. That worked!
i seted up the volume in windows to 0, launched a cinematics ( for me it was the final cinematic ) while in the cinematics , putted back the sound in window to 100% .. and it worked :) now got sound everywhere , on previous save and whatever :)
has got to be the least actionable advice ive read on the forums in, oh, about 20m
