How do people make money in this game?

you can spam quest/activity from the mission board, or sell stuff but that can only do so much, the npcs tend to refresh after a while or the planet kiosk Just do delivery quest

I don't have anything to sell everytime i steal stuff sarah goes bonkers and gets me put in jail lol

I make 'AMP', sells for 100 each and gives great XP.

I just go fighting spacers and crimson crew outposts. Between the credsticks that you usually find lying around and selling their weapons, I've never had to worry about money. I also don't end up spending money very often either...

Scrapping ships
Mining
Selling all the guns and suits and stuff you pick up along the way.
Scanning planets to completion allows you to turn in the data for a decent amount of credits.

scan gasgiants and sell them vllad 2k. and if you explore some planets you can get up to 20k per planet

Do lots of side missions, take a few missions off of the mission board, sell all of the misc jump piling in your ship, and most important, loot any and all credsticks you find.

if you make the crimson fleet undecover mission it will give 250k, crafting stuff and resseling, looting the crap load of stuff and sell what you don't use or what to collect ...

one way also : fly to akila, joint the freestar ranger, put perk in targeting subsystem, take the execution mission, board ship, register ship, you'll find contraband, sell it to the den (starstation in the wolf system), sell those ship you register, after a time you will find that some ship are worth more than others it make a ton of XP and a ton of creds :), put pek also in the social trading perks

i loot and sell
i leveled commerce even though i do not believe its really that great long term, i needed the ranks in a social skill and the others did not appeal to me so i took it.
Also make sure you use a grendel with semi auto mod early on so you have a good gun with cheap ammo.
Remember the trade authority will buy stolen goods

Sell things, do quests, make things with outposts then sell them... Its not really hard at all to make credits in this game... I mean its easier to get money then any Beth game I played to date...
