Lowering Resolution doesn't affect performance????
What is going on with this game? The same thing happens with RE4 remake and now this game too. I'm on a certain spot in the game where the game runs at around 50 fps at 4k, so I drop to resolution to 1080p or even lower and it still runs at 50 fps as if the drop of resolution has absolutely no effect on the performance... If this is the case then what the hell does have an effect on the performance? I've never seen something like this. What is going on? Is it that my cpu can't handle the speed? I'm using a 3800 rtx and a i7-8700K cpu.

Sounds cpu bound, try adding "-high -useallavailablecores" to launch parameters.

True, the game does demand more CPU than many realize. Intel 10000 series is recommended. Some CPU benchmarks seem to validate this as well.

in your Steam library, right click the game. Select properties and at the bottom of General tab is Launch Options, copy and paste the command into that box.

yeah I tried
"-high -useallavailablecores"
with and without the quotation marks and it didn't make any difference.

if your performance is capped regardless of your gpu settings you have a bottleneck in your cpu

Lower or disable some options. Sometimes changing just the resolution doesn't work (for some games anyways)

You can also lower everything and raise things up one by one. Maybe by doing that you will be able to figure out what the issue is.

I am not an expert so, just throwing some ideas/suggestions out there.
