What enemy types exist?

There are monstrous type enemies in both Fallout and Elder Scrolls, so I am assuming there's more to Starfield than just human enemies?

Everything I've seen about Starfield just seems to have human enemies so far. Are monstrous ones present later in the game or something? What enemy types are there?

There are lots of strange creatures but they so far are basically animals.

You'll mostly face humans. Kind of like Cyberpunk, Far Cry etc.

Humans mostly ... aliens do exist but they are animals; with the possible exception of terrormorphs.

Oh yeah, you'll find all kinds of giant aliens. I've just been on a planet with some mantis looking monsters that just came straight after me. Also I fought two giant alien bosses so far.

I mean the character creation even has a background called "Beast Hunter". So go figure.

There's also a loading screen depicting some kind of hive like in Alien but I haven't found it yet in game.

If you piss them off - UC Military, Freestar Rangers
