No footstep sounds with specific outfits
I have Sarah and Sam Coe’s outfits in my inventory. Wearing them mute completely my footsteps. Wearing any other apparel work fine.

Does this happen to anybody else? If so, any fix?

Just realized this was happening after putting on another companion's clothes. Seems the footsteps are entirely unbalanced and quiet in general when they are working.

Nah, it's like OP toid, wearing a companion's outfit removes footsteps entirely. Happens only on outfits from companions, no matter how you get em.

I know this, but I was disappointed with the footstep audio design. Some surfaces are too quiet IMO.

I lost Barrett's outfit, anyone know if this was fixed?

Still not fixed I just noticed this with Sam's outfit and I love the outfit but no footsteps ruins it for me

Bumping this again, and yes, it started occurring to me too - or always was and i never noticed?

Well, all companion outfits do not have footstep sounds.
