GPU Crash
Hello everyone.

My game keeps crashing (like alot) . I've looked at the crash logs of the game and it gives me two errors:

Something named "CreationRenderer_checkpoints.." and "GPU crash"

Can someone explain what this crash means? It happends every 10 minutes, sometimes it takes an hour before happening again..

Can someone explain what this crash means and how to fix it..

Game runs with AMD chill, locked on max 60fps. Turned off FSR etc etc. Temps are fine.

Running on: AMD 7900XTX 24GB - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D - 32GB RAM -SSD

Have the Same problem. The login always tells me something different but in the end it's always GPU, otherwise the game runs wonderfully. But crashes every 5 - 10 minutes are just annoying.

Yes, when it runs, it runs great. but a crash every 5 minutes is unplayable

That's definitely not the cause of the problem, I've been using it for 50 hours with MSI afterburner and not a single crash.

Try force the GPU fan speed to 100% and see if that improves things.

Nope, not using it..

Might not be related to the crashing, but try turning on RSR (FSR2). I have a Radeon RX 5700 XT and the game has only crashed once in 19 hours of gameplay. I think the game was built around having to use FSR. It definitely runs poorly without it. FSR works surprisingly well. They also released a new Adrenalin driver yesterday so look into updating that.

Why would that change anything? I run the game with the AMD adrenaline overlay. CPU and GPU are not overheating.

I've already updated the latest driver. What other graphic settings are you using? maybe I can copy it to see where things go wrong

Many with a 79xx card undervolt it, have you?
If yes, up core voltage.

Also, what power supply are you using?
Peak power can get really high on these cards.

sorry but that app does cause issues.IT has to poll the GPU to get its data. You will crash at some point.

i'M not undervolting, or doing anything else with the GPU. My power supply is a Gigabyte GPUD10000GM. since 850W is recommended, I dont believe thats the problem.

The main point is to see if it improves stability, if it does then it's less likely to be a software issue.

Maybe try without adrenaline (overlay)?

And I would totally not disable FSR.

Let MSI Afterburner log stuff in the background to see what may went wrong.

Maybe even undervolt, underclock, or simply tune down settings to not run into exhausted VRAM.

That Gigabyte GPUD10000GM

Is that one of there explody versions?
Its very cheap for 1000W and Gigabyte..... i wouldnt trust it.
I know the 750W and 850W Gigabyte GM series are really really bad, i bet your 1000W GM to.

A PSU rated for 1000W doesnt automaticly mean its a good PSU.
