ship part
who sells them in quantity? the spaceport dude who sells and repairs ships doesn't sell any which doesn't make any sense

Most parts are faction and location locked. Meaning, move around to big cities for locational parts, and do faction quests for faction parts. If you find a spaceport guy that doesnt sell any, that means he either doesnt have any, or you arent selecting the option to "view and modify my ship" when talking to him. When you click that option and your ship pops up, press "B" (I think) to inter ship build mode then hit "G" to open his parts list.

Clocking in almost 100 hours and never saw vendors stocking ship parts in bulks. Usually it's more like 1~5.

Easiest way to get ship parts is to rescue ships in space. That way you can both loot ship parts from destroyed vessels and demand ship parts as a reward.

Wait, if your talking about "ship parts", the stuff to repair your ship, then look for vendors like Trade Authority. They normally carry them, but you gotta find their vendors and not the kiosk things. Its under resources I think.

Yes, you have to spacefight to get spaceMedikits, or at least that is the fastest way.
Jump beween the different planets on a single system , just spend enough time to check if there is someone to kill on each stop.

No one? Jump away.
Someone? Kill it, loot the ship pieces and if there was a unit already fighting them you can ask for even moar ship pieces.
Just remember that those weight 10 each ;)

Ship parts are under Aid, being a healing item and all.

ty for the answers. bought 7 from the general merch on akila and trade authority had none. 7 was enough to get me thru 2 battles with some to spare which i then looted more from my kills. the fight before i asked this quetion the 3 ships i killed had none
