Hotkey for Helmet ?

Can we please have a hotkey to equip/unequip at least the helmet ? I find the UI quite tedious so i just leave it on atm.

There is a setting that triggers it to be removed in breathable areas.

Mine seems to off almost everywhere I go.

In the helmet inventory you have the option at the bottom of the screen to take the helmet automatically off, when it's not required.

Yep i got this set as well but unfortunately, the game then sometimes leaves it unequiped in some non-o2 environments also - leading to unwanted effects.
Maybe a bug ?

You have to go into your inventory, in the helmet section, and then you can set it to Hide when in breathable atmosphere. The hotkey for that is shown down at the bottom of the screen when you are in the helmet section.

The Spacesuit section has a similar option, to auto-hide when in settlements.

Haven't experienced that, so probably yes it is a bug.

You could hotkey it, by setting the helmet as a favorite. The same way you can hotkey a weaepon or medpacks. Would suck to have to waste a hotkey for the helmet though.
