Dream Home without the trait?

This seems like an obvious question, but I can't see where anyone else has asked it, so here 'tis. Do you have to have the Dream Home trait to get the place, or can anyone just buy it during the course of the game? I'd prefer to buy it eventually, rather than futzing with it (and the payments) right from the start.

You need the trait. Cant buy the home later on. I dont even think the game spawns it in unless you pick the trait.

Bummer, but thanks for the reply. I thought it was kind of an obvious question, I was surprised I couldn't find the answer anywhere.

You should be able to do this with console commands? Add the trait somehow..

Its pretty easy to come up with the money for the house so I wouldn't worry about the payments. You don't even need to do the 500 weekly payment until you try to enter it.

Like the parents trait, the money isn't worth being concerned about.
